Hurt People, Hurt People

I agree with this! I’ve been through alot of betrayal in the last several years and have learned that it IS best to forgive, move into grace and let it all go, releasing the pain so that I can share love and joy with others, rather than come from that place of pain.

This profound statement was shared with me by my 15-year-old niece. When she said it my whole world stopped and immediately went into agreement with that statement. Hurt people really do hurt people.

When we hold bitterness or resentment against a person that has hurt us, we allow that past event to hinder our future and our freedom. Make a decision to forgive anyone who has hurt you in the past and set yourself free. Choose to no longer hold on to things you cannot change. Freedom comes when we truly let it go.

Consider that hurt people act out of their pain, release your pain and keep moving toward a better day. You will find a fresh perspective.
